Eintracht Frankfurt Eye Move for Bayer Leverkusen Midfielder Robert Andrich
Eintracht Frankfurt are currently working to sign Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Robert Andrich, according to reports from Kicker and Sky Germany.
Eintracht Frankfurt view the 31-year-old as a leader capable of strengthening their squad, and discussions are currently underway between the club and the player. However, the Hessen-based side has yet to initiate formal negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen, leaving the potential transfer fee for the German midfielder currently unknown.
Andrich moved to Leverkusen from Union Berlin in 2021 for a fee of €6.5 million. He quickly established himself at the BayArena, becoming a key figure in the squad that secured the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal double during the 2023/24 season.
Since joining the club, the midfield enforcer has appeared in 138 league matches for Die Werkself, contributing 14 goals. He also earned his debut for the German national team in 2023 and has since made 19 appearances for the four-time World Cup winners.
His commanding presence in the middle of the pitch, combined with his work rate and long-range shooting ability, makes him an attractive candidate for any side.
