Frosinone has announced the acquisition of left-back Aleksa Terzic from RB Salzburg for a reported fee of €2.5 million. This move marks a significant step as the team enhances its roster following their recent promotion to Serie A.

The Canarini achieved this promotion by finishing second in Serie B last season, trailing only behind Venezia. Returning to the top tier after a one-year absence, the club has opted to continue with coach Massimiliano Alvini at the helm.

Frosinone’s latest signing is Terzic, who has arrived on a permanent transfer from RB Salzburg for a reported fee in the region of €2.5m.

The Serbia international has previous experience in Italian football, having joined Fiorentina in 2019 and spending time on loan at Empoli before moving to RB Salzburg in the summer of 2023 for about €5.65 million.

Terzic, approaching his 27th birthday next week, has faced challenges with recurring muscular injuries over recent years.

During his tenure at RB Salzburg, he recorded three goals and 12 assists across 87 competitive matches.

This summer, Frosinone has also welcomed Romano Schmid, Florian Grillitsch, Luis Hasa, Alessio Zerbin, Ben Lhassine Kone, Kevin Akpoguma, Patrizio Masini, Sebastiano Desplanches, Anouar El Azzouzi, and Wisdom Amey to their roster.

He leaves RB Salzburg after three goals and 12 assists in 87 competitive appearances.
