Inter Ultras Criticize Team Following 3-1 Derby Defeat to Milan

Inter Milan faced a challenging setback in their Serie A season as they fell 3-1 to city rivals AC Milan, marking their first defeat of the 2026-27 campaign on Saturday. The loss prompted an unmistakable reaction from the team’s ultras, who expressed their disappointment with the players’ attitude during and after the match.

In a strong statement, fans displayed a banner that read, “A derby lost without even playing. Not even the guts to say goodbye,” located just outside the San Siro stadium. Many supporters felt disheartened not only by the scoreline but also by the departure of the players from the pitch without acknowledging them.

Despite this defeat being the first for Inter in the ongoing season, it sparked concerns about the team’s spirit and dedication. Supporters particularly noticed the absence of interaction from the players in the Curva Nord, increasing frustration among the fanbase regarding the loss.

With Lazio securing a victory on Sunday, Inter now finds themselves in second place in the Serie A standings, trailing three points behind the Biancocelesti. This latest development highlights the tension that often surrounds fierce rivalries in football, with implications that extend beyond the final whistle.
