Grealish Dropped by Everton for Breaching Club Discipline

Headline: Jack Grealish Misses Carabao Cup Match for Everton Due to Discipline Breach

Jack Grealish did not participate in Everton’s Carabao Cup match against Newcastle United on Thursday “due to a breach of club discipline”.

Although Everton did not provide specific details, reports suggest the issue arose from Grealish missing a training session.

The 31-year-old England winger is currently on loan at Everton from Manchester City, a Premier League rival.

Last season, he spent significant time with the Toffees under a similar loan agreement, netting two goals and supplying six assists over 20 matches, before suffering a season-ending foot injury in January.

Grealish featured as a substitute in City’s 3-0 Community Shield loss to Arsenal at Wembley in August.

He also came off the bench during City’s 2-1 victory against Bournemouth on the Premier League’s opening weekend.

After rejoining Everton before the transfer window closed, Grealish has appeared five times for the club in the current Premier League season.

Additionally, he played in Everton’s Carabao Cup third-round triumph over Wolverhampton.

Originally, he was expected to take part in Thursday’s match before the club confirmed his absence due to the disciplinary issue.
