Juventus Players Cite Discontent with Spalletti, Report Reveals

Juventus Players Express Concerns Over Spalletti’s Training Methods

Reports from La Stampa indicate that some members of the Juventus dressing room are dissatisfied with Luciano Spalletti’s coaching approach. Players are reportedly frustrated with the coach’s prolonged discussions during training, which they feel detract from the intensity of their drills.

As Juventus gears up for a vital Serie A match against Napoli, Coach Spalletti has ordered the team into a two-day training retreat.

Spalletti finds himself under significant pressure, having accumulated only 14 points from nine Serie A matches this season, including two losses in the last three games.

Following a 2-0 defeat to Genoa on Thursday, Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali delivered a pointed speech in the dressing room, urging players to take accountability for their disappointing performances thus far.

Regarding Spalletti’s coaching style, reports suggest that the atmosphere in the dressing room has become tense, with players voicing their concerns over his frequent verbal instructions during training sessions, which disrupt the flow and reduce overall intensity. The report cites TMW as a source.

While Juventus has not yet engaged in formal discussions with any potential successors to Spalletti, names like Stefano Pioli, Paulo Sousa, and Antonio Conte are circulating in connection with the position at the Allianz Stadium.
