Roma Sets €55m Price Tag for Manchester United Target Manu Koné
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, Roma will demand at least €55m for Manchester United target Manu Koné, while the agent representing Matias Soulè has travelled to England to hold meetings with Sunderland and Fulham.
Roma may sell several key players in the coming weeks to address financial requirements, as the club faces fines from UEFA and must improve its financial records over the next few months.
Premier League interest in Roma’s Koné and Soulè
France international Koné has attracted interest from Manchester United, which has opted to bypass a move for Atalanta’s Ederson to focus its pursuit on the Roma midfielder.
The Giallorossi maintain they will not allow the player to leave for less than €55m, according to reports from Corriere dello Sport.
Meanwhile, Premier League clubs continue to pursue Argentine winger Soulè. His agent, Martin Guastadisegno, has traveled to England to conduct talks with executives from both Sunderland and Fulham.
Roma currently values Soulè at €35m. Given that the former Juventus talent holds an amortised cost of €15.5m on the club’s balance sheet, a sale at the €35m asking price would net the Giallorossi a capital gain of approximately €20m.
