Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard is closing in on a transfer to Turkish club Besiktas, with a medical examination scheduled for Tuesday, according to Sky Germany’s Florian Plettenberg.

The Premier League side will receive a fee of €20m for the Belgian international. Trossard played a significant role for Arsenal during their title challenge, recording six goals and six assists across 31 Premier League appearances.

Plettenberg reports that Trossard and his agent, Dirk Hebel, have approved the transfer following an agreement on a four-year contract that runs until 2030.

The move follows Belgium’s elimination from the FIFA World Cup 2026 in the quarter-finals against Spain, with Trossard having participated in every match for his country during the tournament in North America.
