Manchester United Eyes AS Roma’s Manu Kone for Transfer
In a recent report, Sky Sports mentioned that Manchester United are keeping tabs on AS Roma midfielder Manu Kone. The Red Devils have identified the French talent as a target for this summer transfer window.
Kone’s Solid Campaign In Serie A
Kone enjoyed a decent run of form at the Italian club, delivering a series of impressive displays in midfield. The 25-year-old scored two goals and secured three assists in 37 appearances for AS Roma across multiple competitions last season.

The French talent is currently regarded as one of the best central midfielders in Serie A. Thus, the Red Devils would benefit from luring him to Old Trafford during this transfer window.
His current contract at the Italian club will expire in the summer of 2029, which may complicate Manchester United’s attempts to secure him at a reduced fee this offseason.

Should Manchester United Boss Michael Carrick Move In For Kone?
Kone loves to tackle and can read the game well to regain possession for his team. He is not afraid to clear the ball when the opposition is pressing, and he also distributes it neatly.

The French midfielder is energetic and dynamic in the center of the park. Kone can contribute by scoring and assisting from midfield. However, there are concerns about whether he can adjust to the physical and high-intensity style of the Premier League if Manchester United secures his signature later this year.
Kone is expected to enhance the quality and depth of Michael Carrick’s midfield. He is capable of competing for a regular starting spot at Old Trafford next season.
At 25, Kone is entering his peak years, making him an appealing option for the Red Devils to pursue this summer. However, Carrick may need to afford him some time to acclimate to life at the Theatre of Dreams. Nevertheless, Manchester United should prioritize pursuing Kone before the transfer window closes.
