After seeing Celik’s contract renewal fall through due to his move to Juventus, and pending news on Lorenzo Pellegrini, Gianluca Mancini’s contract extension has been confirmed in recent days.

Gian Piero Gasperini will once again be able to count on the Giallorossi defender, who is a cornerstone of the defence alongside Ndicka and Hermoso. The 1996-born defender is preparing to make his Champions League debut for Roma.

Mancini, who has also been linked with Inter, is expected to remain at Roma for a long time. The conditional tense, after what happened with Celik, is mandatory.

The Giallorossi defender, however, is expected to sign a contract extension until 2029, and an official statement from the club is awaited.
