Roma Shifts Focus Away from Franck Kessié Amid Juventus Interest
After Juventus’s unexpected signing of Celik, it seemed Roma was poised to respond favorably to Frederic Massara by actively pursuing Franck Kessié. The Ivorian midfielder gained significant recognition during the World Cup, making a potential return to Serie A appear plausible.

However, according to Alfredo Pedullà, the Roman club currently has no plans to pursue the midfielder. As of now, there have been no discussions with Kessié’s agent, Atangana, and the journalist suggests that such talks are unlikely to happen.
Instead, Roma is focusing on strengthening other areas of the squad, particularly in attack. Kessié’s name had been previously associated with Roma due to Massara’s admiration for the player, who formerly played for AC Milan. However, Massara is now directing his efforts toward bringing Kessié to Juventus.
