Noël Aséko Explains His Choice to Join Eintracht Frankfurt
New Eintracht Frankfurt signing Noël Aséko spoke about his reasons for joining Eintracht Frankfurt during an introductory press conference on Monday afternoon. Aséko discussed in detail why he chose Eintracht Frankfurt over a club that had gone to great lengths to exercise a buyback option on him, and he was surprisingly candid about his decision.
Touted as a potential replacement to Leon Goretzka, Nséko revealed that Bayern Munich were not ready to offer him that opportunity at this time. The self-identified “Streetballer from Neuköln” noted that Eintracht Frankfurt provided better prospects.

“The clear plan that they had to further my development [also played a significant role],” Aséko added. “At my age, it’s very important for me to take the next step. Here, I have a chance at a brighter future.“
