Notts County have signed Harrogate Town midfielder Jack Evans for an undisclosed fee.

The 25-year-old has agreed to a three-year deal with the Magpies.

He scored twice in 48 appearances for Harrogate last season, having joined from FC Halifax Town in the summer of 2025.

He was named Harrogate’s Player of the Season by both the club’s supporters and his team-mates.

“Despite Harrogate’s struggles last season, Jack was one of the outstanding midfielders in the division,” Notts County director of football Richard Montague told the club website.

“In particular, we feel his capabilities out of possession – his energy, aggression and work-rate – complement the other midfield players at the club.

“He’s another player who brings leadership qualities to the group and, with his prime years ahead of him, we’re very much looking forward to working with him.”
