Fans at Old Trafford Protest Against United Owners

Headline: Man United Fans Continue Protests Against Club Ownership During Aston Villa Match

During Sunday’s match against Aston Villa, Manchester United fans persisted with their protests aimed at the club’s ownership. Following a similar demonstration during last week’s Roma game at Old Trafford, supporters distributed 4,000 green and yellow balloons and threw tennis balls onto the pitch as a form of dissent.

The green and yellow balloons once again made their presence known in the Stretford End before and during the match against Villa. Additionally, several anti-Glazer banners were displayed throughout the stadium, underlining the fans’ sentiments.

As the match unfolded, Manchester United found themselves in a challenging position, entering the game ranked 18th in the league. They quickly fell 2-0 behind within the first four minutes but managed to equalize, ending the match at 2-2. In recent weeks, fans have shifted their focus of frustration away from coach Michael Carrick, expressing their discontent directly towards the club’s board and ownership instead.
