Paris Saint-Germain showcased their prowess in the UEFA Champions League with a decisive 6-0 win against Villarreal. The French side’s offensive attack proved too much for the home team, with supporters starting to leave the stadium before the 20-minute mark as PSG found the back of the net four times within the first 17 minutes.

The scoring began with Joao Neves, who capitalized on a corner that Villarreal could not clear, driving the ball in from close range. The intensity did not let up, as PSG quickly seized upon a poor pass from Villarreal’s goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, leading to Desire Doue’s well-placed shot for their second goal.

Villarreal continued to falter, losing possession once more shortly after and allowing Senny Mayulu to fire a shot past Gulacsi for a third goal. Fabian Ruiz then joined the scoring, receiving the ball in the box and striking it inside the near post to end the first half with PSG leading by four goals.

After the break, Ruiz netted his second goal, displaying finesse by deceiving his marker before placing the ball beyond the reach of the Villarreal goalkeeper. The final goal came from 17-year-old David Boly, who surged down the flank and managed to score off a deflection off a Villarreal defender, sealing PSG’s commanding win.

With this victory, Paris Saint-Germain stands at the top of the Champions League group with a perfect record of 12 points. Their next match will be against Roma on November 25 at 20:00 GMT. Villarreal, in contrast, has struggled and will be looking to improve as they face Slavia Prague on the same day at 17:45 GMT.
