Just days prior to the match against the Nerazzurri, the American international signed a contract extension that runs until 2031.

“I guess I wasn’t thinking too much about the contract, but it does feel really good,” Pulisic told CBS after the game.

“What this club has given me, from top to bottom. The confidence they’ve given me. To repay these fans on a day like today, but I want to give them so much more because they really restarted my career and helped me in so many ways, so I owe it to them.”

“I love playing in the biggest games. The atmosphere was incredible today, and winning again is always special,” he added.

“I like to play in big games; we’re always very motivated, and we seem to do well against Inter in recent times. For us, it’s about finding consistency in all other games because we seem to find a little extra motivation for these ones.

The 28-year-old has now scored three goals and provided one assist in nine games across all competitions this season.

He joined the Rossoneri from Chelsea in 2023 for a €21m deal and has netted 45 goals in 143 matches for the Serie A club.

Milan currently stands fifth in the Serie A table with 21 points after ten matches, trailing table leaders Lazio by seven points.
