Fenerbahce Secure Mason Greenwood Deal Ahead of Roma
Mason Greenwood is heading to Istanbul for a medical with Fenerbahce, with precise details now emerging regarding the transfer fee involving Olympique Marseille, Manchester United, and Getafe. The forward had long been a primary target for Roma, who made no secret of their interest in the wide attacker and had been preparing a package near the €50m asking price.

Fenerbahce took a different route and initiated early talks with the player, eventually agreeing to personal terms on a salary worth a reported €9m per season. Multiple sources in Turkey maintain that the deal is finalized, despite late interest from Atletico Madrid and Roma.
The agreement includes a sell-on clause for Manchester United, who are owed a percentage of the profit. While some reports suggest the Premier League side is entitled to 40 per cent, Sport Mediaset argues that Manchester United will receive 30 per cent, with an additional 10 per cent directed to his former club, Getafe.
Valuations of the transfer fee vary between outlets. While Italian sources value the total fee at €45m plus bonuses, Fanatik in Turkey reports the figure at €39.5m plus add-ons, which includes a significant payment should the club win the Super Lig title.
Turkish transfer expert Yagiz Sabuncuoglu confirms that Fenerbahce has settled all transfer details with both Marseille and the player.
