Spain’s World Cup Champions Receive Lego Trophies and Special Rings
Spain’s players celebrated their victory by receiving Lego replicas of the World Cup trophy after defeating Argentina in the final.
The newly crowned champions were seen carrying the pre-assembled Lego sets as they departed the MetLife Stadium.

Lego, in partnership with FIFA, also presented 30 ‘Super Bowl-style’ rings to members of the Spanish team.
These winner rings reflect a tradition in American sports, similar to those awarded in the NBA Finals.
Spain’s captain Rodri and head coach Luis de la Fuente received temporary rings right after the match, with the custom-fitted rings to be delivered later.
Defender Marc Cucurella plans to get a tattoo of his manager’s face as part of a pre-World Cup bet.
“They made a mistake, but they are men of their word, and they will stick to their word — I am not too ugly, they will just need to find a part of their body which is not too visible,” De la Fuente remarked.

Meanwhile, Ferran Torres, who scored the decisive goal in the final, expressed his belief that “destiny was written” for him and his teammates.
“I think in the end the goal came from 47 million people [approximately the population of Spain], not just those of us that are here,” Torres stated.
“Today destiny was written, it was made for us to win. We’re far from our people today but we tried to be as close as possible to them.
“Finals are hard. When you have [Lionel] Messi on the opposing team, you do get worried but we always backed ourselves and tried to show our football and I think we managed to do it once again.”
