Serie A club Torino have announced a pre-season friendly match against Burnley, which will take place at Turf Moor on August 2.

There are several Italian clubs who are scheduled to play summer warm-up matches on English soil.

The Serie A side is the latest team to organize a visit to the historic Turf Moor stadium for a match on Sunday, August 2.

The game kicks off at 15.00 local time (16.00 CEST).

This fixture serves as the final pre-season test for Burnley before they begin their competitive campaign with a first-round Carabao Cup match against Notts County on Saturday, August 8.

Torino finished in the middle of the Serie A standings last season. The club has since appointed a new coach, Ignazio Abate, and is looking to rebuild the squad.
