Jovan Milošević Approaches €8 Million Move to Sporting Braga

VfB Stuttgart striker Jovan Milošević is reportedly on the verge of completing an €8 million transfer to Sporting Braga. Transfer expert Ben Jacobs has indicated that the 21-year-old Serbian international has chosen to join the Portuguese club and is set to sign a five-year contract. Both Sky Germany and Kicker confirm that negotiations are progressing, although a final agreement between Stuttgart and Braga remains to be finalized. Meanwhile, Udinese is also trying to make a late push for the player.

Milošević’s permanent departure from Stuttgart would wrap up a chapter that never quite took off. The club signed the striker from Vojvodina for around €1.2 million in 2023. However, he only made a handful of appearances in Bundesliga action before being loaned out on multiple occasions. Stuttgart seems poised to secure an €8 million transfer fee, representing a substantial return on their initial investment.

After his loan spells, Milošević rediscovered his form in Serbia. Get German Football News reported last October that the striker expressed a desire to stay with Partizan after finally securing regular playing time in Belgrade, where he scored 19 goals in 30 competitive matches before returning to Germany.

Despite his time at Partizan, Stuttgart opted to hold onto the young talent. Milošević signed a new contract extending to 2029 before he went on loan to Werder Bremen in January. While the move required some patience, Milošević eventually played a key role in Bremen’s fight against relegation.

During his time at Werder, Milošević contributed three goals across 13 Bundesliga matches, helping to restore his prospects in the league after a series of loan moves involving Stuttgart, St. Gallen, and Partizan.

Milošević finally found his footing back in Serbia. Get German Football News reported last October that the striker wished to remain with Partizan after finally finding regular playing time in Belgrade. Stuttgart nevertheless elected to retain control of the rising talent. Milošević signed a new contract through 2029 before joining Werder Bremen on loan in January. The move initially required patience, but the Serbian eventually became an important part of Bremen’s relegation fight.

Milošević finished his Werder stint with three goals in 13 Bundesliga appearances. His timely contributions helped rehabilitate his Bundesliga prospects after years spent moving between Stuttgart, St. Gallen and Partizan.
