West Ham United Signs Everton Forward Kelly Gago in Permanent Transfer
West Ham United has officially signed Everton forward Kelly Gago on a permanent basis, as confirmed in a press release from the club today.
Reports indicate that West Ham has paid a club-record transfer fee to Everton for Gago’s services. The 27-year-old has committed to a three-year deal at The Chigwell Construction Stadium.
Gago joined Everton from French outfit FC Nantes during the January 2025 transfer window and has since scored 10 goals in 30 appearances for The Toffees across all competitions.
Before her tenure at Everton, Gago played for several clubs, including VGA Saint-Maur, Dijon FCO, AS Saint-Étienne, UC Sampdoria, Parma Calcio, and FC Nantes.
On the international front, Gago has represented France 14 times, netting three goals in the process.
Upon her arrival at West Ham, Gago expressed enthusiasm, stating, “I’m very happy to be joining West Ham United. The family-feel of the Club really appealed to me, and I’m excited to join that family.” She added, “I’m going to give everything in order to help the team reach our ambitions, and I’m really looking forward to getting started in Claret and Blue.”
With this move, Gago becomes West Ham United’s ninth signing of the summer transfer window.
