Zidane Includes Four Real Madrid Players in France’s UEFA Nations League Squad
France manager Zinedine Zidane has summoned four stars from Real Madrid for the national team’s forthcoming matches in the UEFA Nations League. Among those named in the squad areKylian Mbappe, Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga, and Ibrahima Konate.
Les Bleus will face Italy away on November 12 in their first match of the international break, followed by a home game against Turkiye on November 15 in Venissieux.
As the captain of the national team, Mbappe has showcased exceptional performance this season, scoring 16 goals and providing three assists in 15 appearances across all competitions. However, Real Madrid will remain cautious, as he sustained an injury during the last international camp following his goal, which marked the beginning of Zidane’s era with France.
Tchouameni returns to the national squad after missing the previous break. The 26-year-old midfielder had recently recovered from an injury, prompting Zidane to refrain from overexerting him. Now that Tchouameni has accumulated sufficient playing time with his club, he is back in the fold for Les Bleus.
Camavinga also earns a spot in the squad after impressing during his previous appearances for the national team. Konate, who solidified his role in the Real Madrid defense since joining this summer, also faced injury issues during the last break, and the Merengues will be hoping for his full fitness in these upcoming matches.
