Roma has officially lost another transfer target as Crysencio Summerville joins Al Hilal. The Dutch winger was close to signing with the Giallorossi, but a significant offer from the Saudi club changed the landscape of the deal.
Al Hilal’s bid included £55 million upfront, along with £10 million in bonuses, which ultimately persuaded West Ham to part ways with their star player.

The Riyadh club celebrated Summerville’s signing with engaging social media posts, subtly targeting the Roman side in the process.
Al Hilal announced Summerville’s arrival through an official statement: “The board of directors of Al-Hilal Club Company, chaired by His Highness Prince Nawaf bin Saad, has signed Dutch midfielder Crysencio Summerville on a four-year contract.”
Utilizing social media, Al Hilal cheekily referenced a popular saying related to Rome, stating: “All roads lead to Riyadh,” highlighting Summerville’s decision to join them instead of Gasperini’s team.
