Saka will not participate in Arsenal’s upcoming match against Liverpool, as he was substituted during the game against Bayern Munich. However, the club is still awaiting more concrete information regarding his recovery timeline.
Arteta elaborated on the situation, hinting at a possible concern while advising caution regarding any premature conclusions. “He needed another scan to check the fluid buildup and assess if and how severely the tendon is affected,” Arteta said.

When questioned about Saka’s participation in the upcoming international matches for England, Arteta remained uncertain. “I can’t say for sure. It seems likely that he will miss out, but we will have to decide next week,” he stated.
Arsenal confirmed that Saka will not be part of the team against Liverpool. Meanwhile, questions also loom over the fitness of Noni Madueke, while Max Dowman will serve a suspension.
Christos Tzolis has returned to training and may provide Arteta with another option. However, the primary concern at this point remains Saka’s condition.
