Arsenal Negotiates with Bayer Leverkusen for Jarell Quansah Transfer

Despite this hefty price tag, Arsenal appears undeterred. Previously, the club expressed strong interest in Ezri Konsa this summer, indicating a willingness to invest around £40 million. However, Aston Villa has stuck to their demand of £60 million without compromise.
Compared to that scenario, Quansah’s reported transfer fee aligns more closely with Arsenal’s financial strategy for potential centre-back acquisitions. Furthermore, at five years younger than Konsa, Quansah presents an opportunity for the club to potentially recoup some of the investment with a future sale.
