Examining Mukau’s statistics reveals that his performance in the previous Ligue 1 season may not justify such a hefty price tag. In total, across all competitions, he appeared in 35 matches and found the net two times. Nevertheless, scouts often look beyond mere statistics. Mukau is physically strong and left-footed, traits that are highly sought after in a modern midfield anchor. He has already earned 12 caps for the Democratic Republic of Congo at the senior international level.
