Bisseck Expresses Interest in Klopp as Germany Coach, Downplays Bundesliga Return
Inter defender Yan-Aurel Bisseck has declared he is ‘not thinking’ about returning to the Bundesliga, instead expressing curiosity about the potential appointment of Jurgen Klopp as the coach of the Germany national team: ‘It gives me a lot of hope.’
Bisseck has established himself as a regular starter for Inter since the 2025-26 season, contributing significantly to the team’s success in winning the Scudetto and Coppa Italia.

The German player has recently been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but no negotiations have yet commenced between the two clubs.
“It’s not something I’m thinking about currently,” Bisseck told Sky Sport DE regarding a potential Bundesliga return.

“But we know that in football, with the right offer, things can change very quickly. I play for Inter, which isn’t bad at all, so a possible return to the Bundesliga isn’t something I’m concerned about right now.”
Bisseck, 25, has only made one appearance for the Germany national team, making his senior international debut in 2025 during a 3-3 Nations League draw against Italy.
Germany was eliminated in the Round of 32 at the World Cup by Paraguay, prompting the German federation to consider appointing Jurgen Klopp as the successor to Julian Nagelsmann.
“His [Klopp’s] arrival gives me a lot of hope,” Bisseck remarked.

“He’s a high-level coach, and I’m convinced he’ll be able to bring his ideas and do a good job. Naturally, in the end, a lot will depend on the players as well. You can’t think that everything will change from one day to another. I’m really curious to see what he will build.”
Bisseck is gearing up to begin his fourth season at Inter, having made 103 appearances and scored eight goals for the Nerazzurri.
