Bologna Extends Riccardo Orsolini’s Contract Until 2031

Bologna has secured the future of winger Riccardo Orsolini by signing him to a new, long-term contract that extends his stay at the club until the summer of 2031. The Italy international, who was in the final year of his previous contract set to expire on June 30, 2027, signed the extension on Thursday.

The club confirmed that Orsolini, now 29, will remain tied to Bologna for the next eight years, meaning he will be 34 when his new contract concludes.

Orsolini began his career with Ascoli and joined Juventus in 2017, though he did not feature in competitive matches for the Turin-based team. He was subsequently loaned to Atalanta during the 2017-18 season and Bologna the following year. Bologna made his transfer permanent in 2019.

Throughout his tenure in Emilia-Romagna, Orsolini has played 309 competitive matches for the club, netting 87 goals in all competitions. Of those, 273 appearances and 75 goals have occurred in Serie A.

Bologna have rewarded winger and fan-favourite Riccardo Orsolini with a new, long-term contract extension that ties him to the club until the summer of 2031.

Orsolini came through the ranks at Ascoli before joining Juventus in 2017. He never made a competitive appearance for the Old Lady and was instead sent out on loan deals to Atalanta in 2017-18 and Bologna in 2018-19.
