Napoli has reached out to Chelsea regarding the availability of striker Marc Guiu, who is not currently in the club’s plans. Chelsea, however, has turned down Roma’s offer to acquire Jamie Gittens on loan.

Reports from various Italian outlets indicate that multiple clubs are exploring options at Stamford Bridge as Chelsea faces a surplus of players in the final stretch of the transfer window.

Although Guiu has not received a squad number for the current season, the 20-year-old has been assigned a reported valuation of €30 million.

Sky Sport Italia claim that Napoli has initiated discussions for Guiu, signaling their intent to invest in the young Spain Under-21 international.

Meanwhile, Sportitalia’s Alfredo Pedullà reports that Roma is eager for Gittens to be available on loan from Xabi Alonso.

Despite Roma’s interest, Chelsea has so far declined their request. However, as the transfer window progresses, circumstances may shift, and options for these players will be reconsidered.

The 22-year-old winger, who is capable of playing on both flanks, joined Chelsea for €56 million from Borussia Dortmund less than a year ago.

Napoli have contacted Chelsea to ask after unwanted striker Marc Guiu, but the Blues rejected Roma’s attempt to secure Jamie Gittens on loan.

On the other hand, Sportitalia transfer pundit Alfredo Pedullà reports that Roma are still hoping that Gittens will be made available on loan by Xabi Alonso.

So far, the Premier League side has refused to accept those terms, but the situation might change later in the summer when time is running out to find solutions for these players.
