Midfielder Cammy Devlin Joins Rangers Following Hearts Exit
Midfielder Cammy Devlin describes his move to Rangers on a free transfer as “an absolute honour and privilege” following his departure from Hearts.
The 28-year-old Australia international spent five seasons at Tynecastle, where he made 171 appearances and scored eight goals.
Devlin has earned five caps for his country and featured as part of their 2026 World Cup squad.
He has signed a two-year contract with Rangers, which includes an option for an additional 12 months. Devlin represents the third significant arrival at Ibrox from Hearts this summer.
Striker Lawrence Shankland joined the club before playing for Scotland at the World Cup, and Derek McInnes took over as manager after Danny Rohl departed for RB Salzburg.
“With the gaffer coming here and a lot of change happening at the club, it feels like a great time to be coming here,” Devlin said.
“I am so aware, having been in Scotland for a while now, of the size of the club and everything that comes with playing for such a massive football club.
“To call myself a Rangers player now feels pretty special and I just cannot wait to get started.”
