Didier Digard and Jean-Michel Roussier Officially Depart Le Havre

Headline: Le Havre AC Announces Departure of Manager and President Amidst Troubling Start to Ligue 1 Season

Body:
Le Havre AC has officially announced the departures of manager Didier Digard and president Jean-Michel Roussier. This decision follows a dismal start to the Ligue 1 season, with the team sitting at the bottom of the table, having earned just two points from their first nine matches.

The club confirmed they are currently in discussions regarding Digard’s exit, while he has already been dismissed from his role as first-team manager. Roussier, who joined the club in 2022, has resigned. Reports suggest his resignation stems from disagreements over the decision to fire Digard, a choice made by the club’s owners, Blue Crow. Roussier’s resignation will be finalized on November 5, after which the club plans to appoint a new President-CEO.

In the interim, Le Havre has named Jair Karam, who heads the Normand club’s academy, as the caretaker manager. The team’s next match is scheduled against FC Lorient next Sunday.
