Newly-promoted Frosinone is making significant moves in the transfer market, securing three new players: RB Salzburg full-back Aleksa Terzic, Werder Bremen midfielder Romano Schmid, and free agent Florian Grillitsch.

The Canarini gained automatic promotion by finishing second in Serie B last season, trailing only behind title winners Venezia.

They are now actively providing reinforcements for coach Massimiliano Alvini while also looking beyond Italian shores after the club was taken over by an American company, who also own Ipswich Town.

Sky Sport Italia previously reported that an agreement was close for Serbian international left-back Terzic, who will turn 27 later this month.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed the news and indicated that Terzic’s medical examination is scheduled for Thursday, August 13.

This move marks a return to Serie A for Terzic, who previously played for Fiorentina before his transfer to Salzburg in 2023.

Additionally, Sky Sport Italia’s Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Frosinone reached an €8 million agreement with Werder Bremen for midfielder Schmid.

The Austrian international has been with Werder Bremen since 2020, contributing 17 goals in 181 appearances.

Frosinone has also reached personal terms with free agent Grillitsch, who was available following the conclusion of his contract with Braga.

Now transfer pundit Fabrizio Romano confirms the news and sets the date for the medical on Thursday August 13.

This represents a return to Serie A for Terzic, who had already played for Fiorentina until the move to Salzburg in 2023.

That is not all, because Sky Sport Italia pundit Gianluca Di Marzio also notes that an agreement has been reached with Werder Bremen for €8m to buy midfielder Schmid.
