RB Leipzig Completes Medical for Hoffenheim Striker Fisnik Asllani
Sky Germany, the Leipziger Volkszeitung, and Kicker are now reporting that Hoffenheim striker Fisnik Asllani has successfully passed his medical with RB Leipzig. Florian Plettenberg indicates that the final transfer fee is in the range of €25 million. As reported earlier, the 23-year-old will transition between Bundesliga clubs through the release clause in his Hoffenheim contract.
The Kosovo international is now expected to join Leipzig’s training camp in Saalfelden and begin training under new head coach Martín Demichelis. Hoffenheim had already excluded Asllani from their training camp squad as the transfer neared completion.

The forward established himself as a standout player in the Bundesliga last season, scoring 11 goals and providing ten assists.
Asllani is anticipated to provide competition for Rômulo at centre-forward. However, it remains uncertain whether Leipzig will offload another striker after his arrival, as the team is already viewed as well-stocked in that position and carries a large professional squad of 38 players.
