Headline: Fans Vote Cristiano Ronaldo as Ballon d’Or of All Time
This Wednesday, the Ballon d’Or organizers announced that fans have cast their votes, placing Cristiano Ronaldo as the Ballon d’Or of All Time (B.O.A.T.). His 2008 victory has outstripped Lionel Messi’s 2012 win.
CR7’s accolades span multiple years, including wins in 2008, 2017, 2016, and 2014. Messi’s recognition includes achievements in 2012, 2023, 2009, and 2021. The list of past winners features players like Karim Benzema, who won in 2022; Michel Platini from 1984; Ronaldo from 2002; Zidane from 1998; and Marco van Basten from 1992. This leads to the intriguing question posed this evening: who is your Ballon d’Or of All Time?
Fans are encouraged to share their choice for B.O.A.T. in the comments section, and the organizers are eager to hear their reasons.
