With time running short, both Alvarez and Barcelona have ramped up their efforts in recent days.

The report indicates that Alvarez’s agents have informed Barcelona he will attend training as scheduled on Monday.
While he does not intend to stage a rebellion, he plans to meet with Simeone after returning from Atletico’s tour of Korea.
During this meeting, Alvarez aims to communicate his desire to leave and his intention to join Barcelona.

The player’s camp hopes that Simeone will understand his situation and facilitate a transfer, encouraging Atletico to negotiate rather than keep an unhappy forward for the season.
Barcelona Prepared to Enhance Their Offer
The report suggests Barcelona might improve their offer if the meeting goes as planned.

Ibanez reports that Barcelona could slightly increase their offer to facilitate the deal, emphasizing how determined they are to secure Alvarez, who is the top target for Flick.
This follows a meeting earlier in the week between Deco and Alvarez’s representatives, where both sides crafted a joint strategy to expedite the transfer.

However, the ongoing challenge remains Atletico’s hierarchy, specifically CEO Miguel Angel Gil Marin in particular.
Gil Marin remains steadfast, insisting that Alvarez will not be transferred and must adhere to his contract unless a club activates his significant €490 million release clause.
Alvarez is taking every possible step to secure his move, and while Barcelona is prepared to intensify their efforts, a breakthrough remains elusive until Atletico’s stance shifts. Alvarez’s upcoming meeting with Simeone could prove essential.
