Jefferson Lerma has agreed to a new two-year contract with Crystal Palace.

Lerma, who joined the club in 2023, was entering the last year of his contract but has now committed to an extension that will keep him at the club until 2028.

The 31-year-old has made 121 appearances in all competitions since arriving at Selhurst Park following the end of his deal with Bournemouth.

The Colombian international has contributed significantly during one of the club’s most successful periods, playing a key role in the team’s victories in the FA Cup in 2025, as well as the Community Shield and Conference League last season.

His experience will be essential for a Palace side that has recently lost key players Maxence Lacroix and Marc Guehi. Lerma’s versatility allows him to play both in midfield and defense, providing valuable options for new manager Pierre Sage.

Lerma has also represented Colombia in 70 matches, starting all five games during the World Cup before the team was eliminated in the Round of 16.
