Manchester United is making strides toward securing a deal for Leicester City’s teenage talent, Louis Page. The 18-year-old midfielder, who earned the title of EFL Apprentice of the Year last season, is recognized as one of the most promising young players outside the top tier of English football.

As an England Under-20 international, Page has already accumulated 21 senior appearances for the Foxes, which includes five starts last season amid their relegation from the Championship. His latest outing was in the Carabao Cup victory against Northampton this past Saturday.

Negotiations for an agreement are currently underway.

Arsenal and Aston Villa have also expressed strong interest in Page, who recently turned 18 last month.

He could become the latest Leicester prospect to depart the club, following forward Jeremy Monga, 17, who recently signed with Manchester City.

Page signed professional terms with Leicester in September 2025, meaning that Manchester United must finalize a transfer fee with the League One club.

When he signed that contract, Leicester hailed him as “one of the brightest talents in our system.”

Having joined the club as an under-9 player, Page made his senior debut against Huddersfield Town in the Carabao Cup back in August 2025.
