Manchester United received a significant boost in their quest to acquire Barcelona’s Alejandro Balde.

As reported by Jijantes, Balde has decided to leave the Catalan club.

His agent, Jorge Mendes, is reportedly working to secure a new club for him before the closing of the summer transfer window.

Balde played a key role in Barcelona’s achievements last season, making 42 appearances across all competitions as he helped the team secure both the La Liga title and the Supercopa de Espana.

However, the 22-year-old has found himself outside of Hansi Flick’s future plans, leading to limited first-team opportunities this season.

Hall has entered new contract talks with Newcastle, where he has been offered a position within the leadership team under manager Matthias Jaissle.

Balde represents a strong option for United. The Spain international, at just 22, has already made 168 senior appearances for Barcelona.
