Headline: Souleyman Mandey Leaves West Bromwich Albion to Join Grazer AK
West Bromwich Albion midfielder Souleyman Mandey has departed The Hawthorns to return to Austria, where he will join Grazer AK for an undisclosed fee.
The 20-year-old player joined Albion’s academy from Rangers at the beginning of the 2023-24 season. Mandey made his first-team debut for Albion late in the match as a substitute during their final game of the 2025-26 Championship season, marking just James Morrison’s second defeat in 12 matches after he took charge in late February.
The Austria Under-21 international is reported to have declined a new contract offer from the club.
As part of the transfer agreement, Albion has managed to include a sell-on clause.
Following their efforts to secure their status in the second tier, Morrison’s squad is set to kick off the new season with an EFL Cup first-round tie against Rotherham United this Saturday, followed by an opening-day league match at Norwich City.
