Milan Secures Record €50 Million Per Year Kit Deal with Adidas Starting 2028
In a groundbreaking move, AC Milan has finalized a record-breaking agreement with Adidas worth €50 million annually. This partnership will span a decade, commencing in the 2028-29 season, with Milan set to replace their current kit supplier, Puma.
La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that this lucrative deal, running from 2028 through 2038, totals €500 million. This represents a significant leap from Milan’s past agreement with Puma, which began a decade ago at €14 million per season and subsequently increased to €30 million per season starting in 2022.
The deal marks the most profitable kit sponsorship in Serie A history, surpassing Juventus’ recent €408 million contract with Adidas for the next ten years. Inter Milan has also secured a deal with Nike worth €30 million per season over eight years, signed in 2023.
Milan’s partnership with Adidas is a revival of a longtime relationship, as the brand previously designed the club’s kits during the early 1990s and the early 2000s under coach Carlo Ancelotti. With this promising financial backing, AC Milan looks ahead to stronger competitive positioning in the coming years.
