Milan Eyes Midtjylland’s Dario Osorio as Potential Signing

One significant factor is the involvement of Simon Kjaer, who previously played for the Rossoneri and is now a board member at Midtjylland. Kjaer has discussed various players from the Danish club in interviews in Italy, mentioning Osorio specifically.
This connection could benefit Milan in their pursuit of the player.
An additional reason for interest in Osorio is that he is not a new target for Milan. The club was first linked with him in January 2023, during Paolo Maldini’s tenure, when they attempted to secure his move to San Siro.
Milan officials had previously made an offer of €5.5 million along with a 30% resale fee, but Universidad de Chile rejected this, seeking a higher amount.

Tactically, Osorio stands out as a left-footed attacker capable of cutting inside, which appeals to coach Ruben Amorim. He has expressed a need for a player with Osorio’s skill set in his squad.
Despite his youth, Milan is confident that Osorio has a bright future ahead, especially under the ongoing project with Amorim.
