Monza Eyes Return for Goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio Amid Uncertainty at Juventus

Monza is reportedly exploring the possibility of bringing Michele Di Gregorio back to the club, as the goalkeeper’s future with Juventus appears increasingly precarious this summer.

According to GOAL Italia, citing Sky Sport, no formal negotiations have taken place between the two clubs at this time. Nevertheless, Monza is optimistic about reuniting with Di Gregorio, who previously spent four seasons with the team before joining Juventus in 2024.

Having made 84 appearances for Juventus, Di Gregorio has faced criticism for his performances, contributing to the uncertainty surrounding his role at the club.

Monza is not alone in its pursuit, as Torino and Valencia have also expressed interest in the former Inter goalkeeper.

As the transfer window progresses, Juventus has already begun searching for a replacement goalkeeper, with Mattia Perin potentially stepping into the role as their first-choice option.

The team has experienced setbacks in securing potential targets and is considering multiple alternatives. Notably, Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario has emerged as a favored option, while PSG’s Lucas Chevalier is also on their radar, according to Sport Mediaset. Other candidates being evaluated include Musso, Anatoliy Trubin, and Andriy Lunin. Changes to Juventus’ goalkeeping lineup could take place before the transfer window closes.

Monza are reportedly considering a sensational move to bring Michele Di Gregorio back to the club, with the goalkeeper potentially set to leave Juventus this summer.

According to GOAL Italia, citing Sky Sport, there have been no formal negotiations between the clubs at this stage, but Monza are dreaming of reuniting with the goalkeeper who spent four seasons in Brianza before joining Juventus in 2024.

Di Gregorio made 84 appearances for the Bianconeri but has endured a difficult spell in Turin, with criticism surrounding his performances and his future now increasingly uncertain.

Monza would face competition for his signature, however, with Torino and Valencia also reportedly interested in the former Inter goalkeeper.

The Bianconeri have seen potential options slip away and are now focusing on several alternatives. Tottenham’s Guglielmo Vicario is reportedly among their preferred targets, while Sport Mediaset has also linked them with PSG goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier.

Other names under consideration include Musso, Anatoliy Trubin and Andriy Lunin, meaning Juventus’ goalkeeping situation could undergo significant changes before the transfer window closes.
