West Ham United manager Nuno Espirito Santo expressed his belief that his team earned more than just a single point from their 1-1 draw with Watford over the weekend.

“Overall, we dominated the game, even though we conceded first,” he shared with BBC Radio London. “We created a lot of situations in the second half, many, many situations, so overall I think we should get more [from the game].”

When discussing his squad’s strategy for the Championship this season, Espirito Santo reiterated their ambitions, stating, “Realising that we are favourites and it is our goal… the message is simple, we have to go back to the Premier League, realising how hard it is.”

He underscored the team’s commitment, adding, “We don’t get away from our responsibilities, we want to go back.”
