Headline: PSG Faces Injury Challenges Ahead of Match Against Le Havre AC
Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) will be without key players Ousmane Dembélé, Marquinhos, and Nuno Mendes as they prepare to face Le Havre AC on Friday night, according to the club’s announcement.
Nuno Mendes suffered a muscular injury during the team’s victory over RC Strasbourg Alsace, which sidelined him for their UEFA Champions League match against Barcelona. It was during this encounter that PSG incurred several injuries to their squad.
Ousmane Dembélé was forced to leave the pitch early due to a thigh injury, while Marquinhos also exited the game with a muscular problem later on. In addition, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who sustained an ACL injury, will be out for a significant portion of the season.
Despite the injuries to Dembélé, Marquinhos, and Mendes being more short-term, none of these players will be available for the match against Le Havre, nicknamed Les Ciel et Marine.
Heading into the match, PSG sits at the top of Ligue 1 following a challenging start to the season, while Didier Digard’s Le Havre AC currently finds itself at the bottom of the league standings.
