Juventus Issues Ultimatum to PSG Over Randal Kolo Muani Transfer Fee
Randal Kolo Muani is for sale, but PSG are asking for more than €45m for the striker who they can’t find a use for. Juventus don’t want to pay.
Randal Kolo Muani’s transfer to Juventus initially showed promise, but negotiations stalled last week. After anticipating that the Italian club would attempt to negotiate a lower fee, those efforts reached a new level today.
A senior official from the Juventus sporting department publicly criticized PSG’s valuation of the forward, effectively issuing an ultimatum regarding the asking price.
PSG “exorbitant” demands killing deal with Juventus says GM
“PSG’s asking price is exorbitant, it’s either we reach an agreement or we look for another player,” the Juventus general manager said.
“PSG is demanding more than 45 million euros. Buying is easy these days, you just have to spend, but the sums are astronomical.”
This move appears to be a strategy to drive the price down. However, it may not be a bluff, as Juventus remains unwilling to meet the €45m valuation. PSG must now decide whether to find an alternative buyer or lower their demands to finalize the transfer.
