After a memorable win over FC Barcelona at the Spotify Camp Nou in the first El Clasico of the 2026-27 season, Real Madrid prepares to take on Racing Club in Santander tonight as they continue their La Liga campaign.

Jose Mourinho emphasized in his pre-match press conference that securing another win in this fixture is crucial for the Merengues to build on their success against Barcelona, especially since the Catalan side recently achieved a resounding 6-1 victory over Alaves.

Real Madrid has released their squad for the match, which is largely similar to the one that faced Barcelona. Notably, Federico Valverde will miss the game due to an injury sustained in the previous match, where he played for an extended period despite discomfort. He is anticipated to return for the upcoming clash against AEK Athens, while either Denzel Dumfries or Trent Alexander-Arnold will likely fill the right-back position against Racing.

Meanwhile, Ferland Mendy, Rodrygo Goes, and Raul Asencio remain sidelined due to injuries and will not join the team in Santander.
