Headline: Stade Rennais to Face Olympiacos Without Esteban Lepaul
Stade Rennais will be without Esteban Lepaul as they prepare for their UEFA Europa League match against Olympiacos on Wednesday night. The match was rescheduled from its original date of Thursday, due to adjustments linked to ongoing protests throughout France, which also affected Rennes’ weekend fixture against OGC Nice.
Lepaul has not yet regained his fitness, and it now seems improbable that he will return in time for the upcoming international break. Consequently, he is expected to be absent from the France squad, with the announcement set for Friday. Lepaul’s absence marks the only injury concern for Rennes ahead of their clash with the Greek side. Manager Franck Haise is likely to field a stable starting lineup, with minimal changes anticipated for the match tonight.
Rennes likely line-up vs Olympiacos:
Brice Samba; Mahamadou Nagida, Anthony Rouault, Charlie Cresswell, Abdelhamid Ait-Boudlal, Bryan Reynolds; Mahdi Camara, Valentin Rongier, Adrien Thomasson; Moussa Al-Taamari, Boulaye Dia. (L’Éq)
