Esteban Lepaul Remains Unavailable for Rennes as Lille Match Approaches
Stade Rennais will be without centre-forward Esteban Lepaul for their upcoming match against Lille OSC due to an ongoing injury. Lepaul has been sidelined for several weeks, and despite initial hopes for his return before the international break, he has not recovered in time. His absence also resulted in him missing a spot in Zinédine Zidane’s France squad.
Coach Franck Haise faces limited challenges with Lepaul being the only significant player unavailable. He will need to make a few decisions regarding his lineup, notably choosing between Mahamadou Nagida and Quentin Merlin for the left-back position, with Nagida appearing to secure the role. Rennes is expected to adopt a 5-3-2 formation for today’s match.
