Headline: Roma Pursues Moves for Porto’s Mora and Lyon’s Fofana as Negotiations Progress

Serie A side Roma is navigating a complex situation regarding their interest in Porto’s Rodrigo Mora while simultaneously eyeing Lyon’s Malick Fofana. As negotiations for Mora advance, the club is still keen on securing Fofana’s services.

Initially, it appeared that Roma could only pursue one of these players, with Fofana considered a backup option to Mora amid a challenging transfer process for the Portuguese talent.

According to a report by Alfredo Pedulla, as Roma finalizes their efforts for Mora, they remain vigilant about the possibility of adding the Lyon youngster to their lineup. The Italian club finds optimism in the news that Fofana’s market value has dipped below €40 million. Although Roma is not in a hurry—considering Lyon’s participation in the Champions League qualifiers—the club indicates a sustained interest in the player, especially with competition from other teams.

In further developments, Tuttomercatoweb has reported that Roma has reached an agreement on personal terms with Fofana. Despite Galatasaray entering the fray, this does not alter the offers Roma has made, which could be pivotal as they work to secure the winger’s transfer this summer.

Serie A side side Roma have witnessed ups and downs in a move for Porto’s Rodrigo Mora. While a deal for the talent is now inching closer, they still want to sign Lyon’s Malick Fofana.

Initially, it was clear that it would only be one of the two for the Giallorossi. Fofana was an alternative to Mora and a move for the Portuguese was looking complex.

Alfredo Pedulla has reported that while a move for Mora is finalising, Roma remain alert to the idea of signing the Lyon youngster.

They have gained encouragement from the fact that his valuation has now fallen below €40 million. At the same time, they aren’t in a rush as Lyon will play in the Champions League qualifiers but they remain keen on the player, with other clubs also in the race.

Tuttomercatoweb report that, in fact, Roma have an agreement over personal terms with the winger. While Galatasaray have entered the scene, it hasn’t changed what the Italian club have offered Fofana and this could prove decisive in their move this summer.
