Cristian Romero’s agent and entourage were spotted in Milan this afternoon for talks with Inter, as the Tottenham Hotspur and Argentina defender seeks a return to Serie A.
Reports indicate that the Nerazzurri are currently in the lead for Romero, although they will need Spurs to reduce their €50 million asking price.

This comes just hours after Inter director Piero Ausilio left the German pre-season training camp to return to Italy, primarily to be present at this meeting.
Sportitalia reports that Inter is confident they can get Tottenham to lower the price for Romero to €35-40 million, as both the club and the player are eager to finalize this separation this summer.

This potential move marks a return to Serie A for Romero, who began his European career in Italy with Genoa in 2018.
He subsequently moved to Juventus, excelled with Atalanta, and was transferred to Tottenham for €53.8 million in 2021.
