Stockport County Signs Defender Tom Wilson-Brown from Leicester City
Stockport County has officially signed defender Tom Wilson-Brown from Leicester City on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.
The 21-year-old marks the Hatters’ tenth signing during the summer transfer window, joining the club after progressing through Leicester’s youth academy.
Wilson-Brown has previous experience from loan stints, having played for Scottish side Kilmarnock and spending last season on loan at Swindon Town, where he made 26 appearances across all competitions.
“Tom has a great blend of physical and defensive attributes that we feel will complement our defensive unit really well,” said manager Jimmy McNulty on the club website. “He gives us healthy competition across the back line, while also providing us with different options from a tactical and technical perspective.”
Stockport will kick off their 2026-27 League One campaign against Plymouth Argyle on Saturday.
